The Salem Youth Council is an organization for our high school students who are interested in serving their community.  Our council is made up of young adults who are ambitious, responsible, and willing attend a monthly planning meeting, and carry out a monthly service project.  Youth are also required to attend a city meeting, lead an activity, and represent our great Salem City.

Some of our activities include:

Senior Valentines Dinner, Leadership Conference with youth from around the state, City Easter Egg Hunt, Salem Days Events, Halloween Carnival, Sub for Santa, and luminaries at the cemetery on Christmas Eve.
