Here's your chance! The Salem City Gravity Gran Prix is a soap box derby race, where you build your own car to race down a hill. Think of it as a pinewood derby car that you can ride in. The 2013 race will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Fee: is $15 car/ $10 per driver (each can can enter up yo three classes). The race is open to everyone, male or female, young or . . . not so young, including residents of towns other than Salem. Racers are to be completely gravity powered.
