Arrowhead Trail Closure

Salem City originally approved the Salem Park Subdivision (400 Units) in approximately 2008.  The developer has been working primarily on the east side of the project.  About 12 months ago work began on the west side of the project adjacent to Arrowhead Trail and on Arrowhead Trail.  When the final engineering design was completed along with the soils engineering for the road, it required that the road be completely reconstructed and raised approximately 18 to 20 inches.  At the same time the water, sewer, pressurized irrigation, and storm drain utilities needed to be installed. The utility work is nearly complete and the road reconstruction is beginning. We anticipate this road to be reopened before winter, however the weather may impact this schedule.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to people that commonly use this section of road.
