Marvin Curtis and Lorraine Moore Baker have lived in Salem for 45 years.

Lorraine was raised in Payson, Utah and lived there until she met Marvin and he dragged her to Salem.

Marvin was raised in Boulder, Utah. His family moved to Salem when he was 17 where his family roots went back for many generations.

After they were married, Marvin and Lorraine decided to make Salem their home. They are the proud parents of 3 children. Bobbie &. (Shane) Johnson of Salem, Christine & (Mike) Argyle of Smithf ield, Utah and Jayson & (Kim) Baker of Spanish pork, Utah. They have 11 grandkids and 3 great grandkids.

Marvin worked for Western Electric and AT&T for 35 years and was in the 116th Engr. of the Utah National Guard for 26 of those years. Lorraine worked for
the Nebo School Lunch in Salem for 25 years.

They both were members of the "2nd Generation" of the Salem Lions Club. They have helped with every Salem bays celebration in one way or another science 1970.

They were members of the Salern Wahoo Riding Club and helped establish and build the Salem Wahoo Riding Arena and Park.

"We are very proud of our town and the people that make it what it is today. We have visited a lot of places and none can compare to Salem, Utah. (Accept Arizona in January and February)."
